It was wonderful to see new forest life coming back after the first of several volcanic eruptions that toppled old growth trees like toothpicks. Thanks so much Harriet Peck Taylor...I was visiting in Oregon when Mount Saint Helen's erupted..we could see the plume from Portland Oregon about 60 miles away. I was there again when it erupted the 2nd time...So have enjoyed visiting again to see the forest come back.
